My tip this week is this article about how the term AI as used by all of us is very misleading. The article details 3 reasons why this is so and might give you a rethink about what is actually happening under the hood and what is also happening in terms of hoodwinking.
One thing that’s always upset me is how we’ve just anthropomorphized machine learning to death, bestowing it “intelligence” where there is none. It’s like throwing a ball against a wall and then declaring the wall threw the ball back. Don’t ya think?
