ELT Buzz Digest - Feb. 16th
All the "buzz" in English language teaching this week.

Dear Teachers,
Find below our weekly digest for your browsing pleasure.
My tip this week is a fine video report titled - Why You Don’t Remember What You Read. It is a reminder that learning isn’t a tidy, direct line, input, output, AI generated cut and paste performative learning. Reading, any learning too, involves as Maryanne Wolfe so well articulated, deep, interconnected, varied personal processes but crucially needs attention, active mindfulness on the part of the learner. It’s a thing we need to foster, promote and one way is deep reading.
Call To Action! A request. Have you subscribed to my ELT Buzz English YouTube channel yet? Really making a strong effort and your support appreciated!
Best,
David - ELT-Buzzer-In-Chief
