My tip this week is in the vein of linguistics and for all you language mavens out there. This Otherwords episode is a great review about UG - Universal Grammar. It’s premise and controversies. Interesting question about UG in light of LLMs - does it disprove or approve it? Also, this fine summary of research about animal communication. Long gone are the days where we thought mankind was the only “great communicator”.
