My tips this week though is about reading. This Baffler article “We Used To Read Things” by Noah McCormack explores the wider issue of everyone not reading much anymore. It’s not just that we are reading differently, it is that we aren’t reading much at all - and that isn’t good news for education. The power of the written word - the words we ourselves write and share — is fundamental to the learning process and a literate populace.
